3-Gun Shoot
3-Gun shooting is one of the fastest growing shooting sports around, and is based on accuracy and speed. Heidelberg offers a fun and challenging shoot for someone new to 3-Gun to advanced shooters of all levels. Do you have an AR-15, AK, SKS, M1 Carbine, Mini 14 and a semi-automatic pistol, pump or semi-automatic shotgun and want to shoot them in an action scenario, come out to Heidelberg Sportsmen's Association and join us for some 3-Gun excitement.
We offer 4 or 5 stages of fire with targets anywhere from point blank range to 75 feet or at times out to 200 yards. Each shooter may have to shoot from behind cover, under a car or wall, while on the move, you never know what the stages will consist of. The rifle and pistol targets may consist of steel, paper, clay birds, bowling pins or a number of other targets, the shotgun targets may consist of static or flying clays, knock down steel or even moving targets. Our stages change monthly and you never know what to expect from our stage designers other than your going to have a whole lot of fun.
You will need a semi-automatic rifle, semi-automatic pistol and a pump or semi-automatic shotgun, (don't have a shotgun, there's a good chance someone will let you borrow one) 100 rounds of ammunition for your rifle and pistol, and 50 rounds of shotgun ammunition, (Bring Extra, not all targets are as easy as you think) You may also need up to 5 slugs or 5 rounds of Buck Shot. You will also need an (outside the waistband) holster, magazine pouches and shot shell holders and at least 2 magazines for your rifle and pistol. (if you don't have the mag pouches or shell holders, let us know in advance and we may be able to find one for you to borrow)
We offer several divisions to choose from including:
