Field Days introduce participants to outdoor sports such as archery, trapping, and hunting through closely supervised hands-on activities. An adult must accompany all youth participants and can accompany more than one youth. Please ensure that your child meets the age requirements of the specific event that you are registering.

About the EventWelcome to the Lebanon County Family and Youth Field Day! This event is sponsored by the Lebanon County Federation of Sportsmen Clubs, who represent the 23 sportsmen organizations in the county. The event will be held at the Heidelberg Sportsmen Club, 20 Sportsman Lane, Newmanstown PA 17073.
The list of activities that are available for your participation include:
* Archery (Compound bow and crossbow)
* Trapping
* Air rifle
* Shotgun
* .22 rifle
* Tactical rifle
* Muzzleloader
The day's activities begin at 8:00 AM sharp; we ask that you arrive between 7:00 and 7:30 for enrollment, so that we can keep to this schedule. Ages 7yrs. to 15yrs.
This is an outdoor event; please dress for the weather. Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Federation.
Directions:
From Lebanon: Take Route 897 into Schaefferstown. Two blocks after the second traffic light, turn right on to South Market Street. Go down the hill, past Sheep Hill Road and Fountain Park, and up the next hill - approximately .25 mile. Turn left on to Sportsman Lane (There is a sign for Heidelberg Sportsmen at the intersection) and travel approximately .25 mile to the club house on the left. The lane will turn to gravel from macadam as you approach the club.
From the West - Quentin or Cornwall. Take Route 419 into Schaefferstown. Follow the directions above, as Route 419 merges with Route 897 at Schaefferstown.
From the South - Brickerville or Lititz: Take Route 501 into Schaefferstown. At the first light, turn right on to Route 897 and follow the directions above.
From the East - Reinholds. Take 897 in to Schaefferstown, At the square with the Franklin House Tavern as you enter the town, turn left on to South Market Street and follow the directions above.
